Crews have completed natural gas line installation and final restoration activities for the 2023 East Denver Natural Gas Project.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we completed this important project which allows us to provide safe, reliable natural gas service and enhances system resiliency during extreme weather.

Construction began in 2022 and is expected to continue through 2024.

Xcel Energy will assess the need to rebuild up to 10,000 feet of natural gas line in Denver between 2021 and 2024 as part of the East Denver Natural Gas Project.

This project allows us to continue to provide safe, reliable natural gas service.

During work, you may notice:

• Marking of utility lines and utility survey holes.
• Road and sidewalk closures.
• Traffic control.
• Parking restrictions.
• Temporary changes to access.
• Construction noise.

We restore work areas to preconstruction conditions as weather allows. Work areas may be left temporarily restored after construction until we can complete final restoration.
